Lifebuoy 4.3 Kg

A marine lifebuoy that meets the standards is one of the important safety measures for ships. Its appearance should be orange-red with no color difference.

The surface of the lifebuoy should have no convexity and no cracks. Four equally spaced positions along the circumference of the lifebuoy should be surrounded by 50mm wide retroreflective tapes. The outer diameter of the lifebuoy should be no greater than 800mm, and the inner diameter should be no less than 400mm. The periphery of the lifebuoy should be equipped with a buoyant handle rope with a diameter of not less than 9.5mm and a length of not less than 4 times the outer diameter of the lifebuoy. This rope should be fastened at 4 equidistant positions around the circle body and form 4 grommets of equal length. The lifebuoy's name and model, approval certificate number or product certificate number, inspection agency logo, manufacturer, manufacturing date and batch number should be permanently and clearly marked. The weight of the lifebuoy should be not less than 2.5kg. If the lifebuoy is used to drive a quick release device for spontaneous smoke signals and self-illuminating lights, the mass of the lifebuoy shall be not less than 4kg.
