China International Maritime Exhibition is a large-scale international maritime exchange event integrating academic, exhibition and trade. It has been held in Shanghai every single year since 1981 and has been successfully held for 18 consecutive times. It has become a bridge and link for China and the international maritime community to seek all-round and multi-level cooperation. It is an important window to understand China's shipbuilding and offshore engineering equipment, shipping, ports and other industries. It has played a positive role in promoting communication and cooperation between China and foreign countries in the fields of maritime technology, economic and trade cooperation, ship financing, safety and insurance, regulations and rules, and environmental protection. After more than 30 years of development, China International Maritime Exhibition and Convention Center has become the first maritime exhibition in Asia and the second largest maritime exhibition in the world.
The 19th China International Maritime Exhibition is hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, co-organized by China State Shipbuilding Corporation, China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, China Shipbuilding Industry Association and China Shipbuilding Engineering Society, Shanghai Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Undertaken by the Society and UBM Company, it will continue to be sponsored by the Naval Equipment Department of the People's Liberation Army, China Ocean Shipping (Group) Corporation, China Shipping (Group) Corporation, China National Petroleum Corporation, China National Offshore Oil Corporation, China Classification Society , Shanghai Shipping Exchange, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China Coast Guard Logistics Equipment Department, Royal Institution of Naval Architects, British Society of Marine Engineering and Technology, International Independent Tanker Owners Association and other units for strong support.
